What it means

A retro Windows mouse-settings window shows “Disable mouse clicking” being checked while a grim developer in a white lab coat stands in a dark, sci-fi industrial facility. The scene escalates into glowing sparks and an apparent catastrophic malfunction, turning a harmless settings change into an absurdly dramatic disaster. Ominous electronic music and tense cinematic sound make the joke work by treating disabling mouse clicks like a world-ending engineering decision, with laughter or a snicker reinforcing the punchline.
