Systemd Adds Age Verification, & r/Linux Censors Age Verification Pos Plus: Which Open Source Operating Systems plan to include Age SYSTEMD WHEN THEY THINK WINDOWS COMPUTER RED HAT INC. BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING YOU 1984 WAS SUPPOSED TO BE AN INSTRUCTION MANUAL Systemd Vibing PASSPORT United States of America Age Verified! CALIFORNIA SystemD

A fast, surreal montage mocks age-verification proposals and censorship in the Linux and open-source world. It cuts between Linux-themed commentators, exaggerated systemd and Red Hat imagery, a vibing book, an American passport marked “Age Verified!”, and a dark systemd ending. The joke is that supposedly free and customizable open-source systems are portrayed as becoming absurdly bureaucratic and authoritarian; the energetic music makes the escalating parody feel like a dramatic internet edit.
