What it means

A cluttered retro Solaris desktop displays XScreenSaver animations, file-manager windows, and a Macintosh Application Environment window styled like classic Mac OS. The joke is the extreme mashup of old Unix, Solaris, X11, and Macintosh interfaces, evoking an enthusiast’s wonderfully impractical vintage-computing setup.
