PostgreSQL's First Logo
PostgreSQL This was the first logo PostgreSQL used when released in July 1996. Frankly, it was a mistake to ever stop using it.
The image shows the metallic PostgreSQL logo over a shattered brick wall, with text claiming that this was PostgreSQL’s first logo from July 1996 and joking that abandoning it was a mistake. The humor comes from nostalgically treating an outdated, dramatic 3D logo as superior to the modern branding.
