Text on the meme

Microsoft Visual Basic New Project Project1 - Microsoft Visual Basic [design] Project1 - Form1 (Form) Form1 Command1 Private Sub Command1_Click() MsgBox ("Hello") Project1 - Microsoft Visual Basic [run] Hello OK

What it means

A Windows XP desktop opens Microsoft Visual Basic 6, creates a basic form with a button, adds a one-line MsgBox("Hello") command, and runs it to display a tiny Hello dialog. The joke nostalgically contrasts the remarkably quick, lightweight native GUI development workflow with modern, slower and more complicated software stacks. The cheerful music and small clang/ding sound effects emphasize the satisfying speed and simplicity of the result.
