Dog What Now Under the Deck

Dog what now

What it means

A person hidden beneath a wooden deck films as several people walk around above and look down, then the clip cuts to a close-up of his foggy, scrunched-up face. The repeated caption “Dog what now” treats the confused reveal like a dog’s bewildered reaction, making the awkward hiding spot and dramatic final expression funny. Declan McKenna’s upbeat indie-pop song “Brazil” gives the sequence an intentionally playful, escalating soundtrack.
