What it means

Peter Griffin stands blankly in a diner while the world outside shifts from peaceful daylight to a chaotic red scene, following a montage of him destroying a living room. The caption captures feeling emotionally numb and overwhelmed lately; the melancholic screamo/emo song “Metamorphosis” by Your Arms Are My Cocoon intensifies the absurd contrast and turns the escalating destruction into a dramatic reaction joke.
