Lightning Strikes the Tree

Text on the meme

imagine it struck the tree if a lightning bolt struck the tree would we be electrocuted

What it means

A nighttime storm is filmed from near a building while captions imagine lightning striking a nearby tree and wonder whether the people filming would be electrocuted. The punchline arrives when a bright lightning flash suddenly illuminates the scene, followed by a shaky change in viewpoint, making the hypothetical danger feel immediately real and absurd. It works as a reaction to tempting fate or realizing a theoretical problem is happening right now.
