Mark Cerny Calls Out Linus Tech Tips

Remember when Mark Cerny called Linus Tech Tips out for their shenanigans? “They had to get a used motherboard. That was the only way that they could build a PS5 equivalent for a PS5 price. And if you’re using used parts... well you can get a used PS5 from eBay for $300-something.” Mark Cerny in response to Linus Tech Tips $500 PS5 Killer PC

Mark Cerny sits in an interview-style setting while text quotes him criticizing Linus Tech Tips’ $500 PS5 Killer PC, pointing out that it relied on a used motherboard and used parts. The joke is that a used PS5 from eBay could be bought for roughly the same price, making the custom PC seem pointless. This meme is used as a sarcastic reaction to questionable budget hardware builds and overly clever alternatives.
