Java Boilerplate Everywhere
Java: You're trying to understand how some code works. Open a file, it's ~20 lines of trivial boilerplate and getters/setters. Open another, same. And another. And another. This happens like 75 times. It's legitimately hard to find a place where anything is actually being done.
A dark-mode tweet screenshot jokes about trying to understand a Java codebase, only to encounter dozens of files filled with repetitive boilerplate and getters/setters. The punchline is that object-oriented programming can spread simple logic across so many classes and accessors that it becomes difficult to find where real work happens. It is used as a sarcastic reaction to overengineered software and excessive OOP abstraction.
