Security Researchers Hate Patches
It's interesting how the security "research" community is happy to write the most ruthless things when they find security flaws. But get upset when called out about sending patches to volunteer projects like FFmpeg (or libxml2)
A screenshot of an X.com post criticizing the security research community. The joke is that researchers publicly exploit or harshly describe vulnerabilities but become defensive when asked to contribute patches to volunteer-maintained projects such as FFmpeg or libxml2. It is used as a sarcastic reaction to security researchers who identify flaws without helping maintainers fix them.
