Rabbit Recites Gilgamesh

Text on the meme

reciting the epic of gilgamesh in ancient sumerian for my fat ass rabbit

What it means

A round, chubby rabbit sits in its enclosure facing the camera while carrots and small food bowls lie in front of it. The caption humorously frames the rabbit’s steady, solemn-looking presence as an ancient Sumerian recitation for an unimpressed, pampered audience. A low, chant-like mantra or humming soundtrack makes the rabbit seem even more ceremonious and absurd.
