Becoming Cultured Through Bee Movie

Text on the meme

Getting more cultured by watching movies in their original language

What it means

A young man in an American-flag shirt sits down with a drink to watch a movie in its original language. The television reveals that he is watching Bee Movie, with anthropomorphic bees graduating, turning the claim of becoming cultured into an absurd joke. The clip works as a reaction to proudly choosing foreign-language films while accidentally watching a famously silly movie about bees.
