Five-Year-Old Explains Disney Plus

Text on the meme

My 5yo has described an unknown piece of technology "At school we have Disney plus, but it's not like the one at home where you see all the films and choose. There is a small box and inside there's a thing with a hole. Then the teacher presses a button and a small drawer comes out, then she puts the thing with the hole into the drawer, presses the button again and the drawer goes back. Then the film starts"

What it means

A Reddit post quotes a five-year-old describing a DVD player at school as an unknown piece of technology. The child compares it with Disney+ at home, making the old-fashioned disc-and-drawer process sound like a mysterious machine. It is shared as a nostalgic and humorous reaction to how quickly modern technology becomes unfamiliar to children.
