The Twin Tower Effect

Text on the meme

Too Soon? ohh nice! Oh, I just killed another person! It hit a building and it killed someone down there! Nice! The Twin Tower Effect.

What it means

A first-person shooter player fires at an enemy on a rooftop, accidentally destroys a building, and discovers that the collapse kills another player below. The cheerful reactions and the final “Twin Tower Effect” caption make the joke darkly reference the September 11 attacks, while explosions and a heavy boom sell the absurd escalation.
