Mystery Leaf in the Sauce

do your thing, mystery leaf

A bay leaf is dropped into a bubbling red sauce and left floating as if it has an important mission. The joke treats an ordinary cooking ingredient like a talented performer, while Soulja Boy Tell 'Em’s upbeat hip-hop track “Turn My Swag On” makes the leaf’s entrance feel dramatically confident and celebratory.
