I Had So Much Potential

Text on the meme

i had so much potential *Have i'll try anyway DOING IMPROVING LEARNING SUCCESS i can't control it so i shouldn't worry A negative mind cannot give you a positive life, remember that. If you see beauty in something don't wait for others to agree

What it means

A fast-moving motivational meme compilation starts with a comment correcting “i had” to “*Have,” then cuts through hopeful self-improvement graphics, a flower, calming animal and anime-style images, and finally an inspirational quote over a person lying in a field. The joke is the contrast between grand potential and increasingly chaotic, overly earnest motivation, made more melodramatic by the gentle bossa nova song “Corcovado” by I Believe in Mercollz. It works as a reaction to trying to stay positive while feeling overwhelmed or dramatically failing at self-improvement.
