SCP Before the Fandom Ruined It

Text on the meme

How SCP felt before the corny fandom ruined it.

What it means

A 16-second monochrome montage shows eerie SCP imagery: clinical corridors, surveillance rooms, computer terminals, shadowy figures, and heavy boots walking through a facility. The caption nostalgically jokes that SCP felt mysterious and unsettling before its fandom made it corny, while Krobak’s dark, atmospheric post-rock track “It's Snowing Like It's the End of the World” intensifies the bleak, ominous mood. It works as a reaction to fandoms or internet communities that became overexposed, childish, or less serious over time.
