Squatting at Sukiya

Text on the meme

This morning, at Sukiya

What it means

A traveler squats barefoot on a stool at the counter of a Sukiya restaurant while waiting for food, with his suitcase beside him. The unusual crouching posture makes the ordinary morning meal look bizarre and is used as an absurd reaction to travel exhaustion or behaving strangely in public.
