First Electric Bill Panic

Text on the meme

Got my first electric bill..

What it means

A dark, candlelit home is shown as the camera moves through rooms, revealing lamps and other lights being turned off or replaced by candles. The joke is that seeing the first electric bill makes the person panic about the cost of electricity, while berlioz & Ted Jasper’s “deep in it” plays with a moody saxophone-led jazz-house feel that heightens the dramatic reaction.
