Watery Friend and Dappled Light
my watery friend... are you too brushed with the pattern of the dappled light...?
A spotted seal and a speckled fawn are shown alongside rippling water and a sun-dappled forest path. The joke is the poetic, overly serious comparison between the animals’ markings and patterns made by light on water and ground, making it useful as an absurd reaction to noticing a visual resemblance.
