ThinkPad Designed for Foot Operation
I've finally worked out what the old ThinkPad design was designed around - it's for foot operation. The trackpoint isn't great when using your finger, but it works great with your big toe. The double layers of mouse buttons and nice wide middle click button are crafted for toe operation. Finally, the scroll of the touchpad is fiddly with your finger, but works fine with your big toe.
A screenshot of a social media post humorously claiming that the old ThinkPad keyboard, TrackPoint, mouse buttons, and touchpad were designed to be operated with a big toe. The joke parodies overly serious product analysis by presenting an absurd explanation for familiar laptop design features.
