Perfectly Unobjectionable Syntax
/someone/ filled a bug report just because hazel let them write this perfectly unobjectionable syntax let if = true in let then = 5 in let else = 6 in if if then then else else ≡ 5
A screenshot shows a Hazel programming scratchpad containing the expression “if if then then else else,” which evaluates to 5. The joke is that Hazel’s syntax makes a chain of reserved words look perfectly valid and readable, inspiring someone to file a bug report simply because the language permits such absurdly elegant code.
