Starlink Installation Without a Drill
HERE'S THE PROBLEM IT OUT WE'RE GONNA KIND OF WE ARE GOLDEN
A first-person video shows someone mounting a Starlink dish on a corrugated metal roof without a drill. He uses a handgun-like tool to punch holes, discovers the opening is initially too small, tries again, and successfully feeds a cable through. The absurd improvisation and confident “we are golden” punchline make it a reaction for reckless DIY solutions.
Here's the problem. I am mounting my new Starlink and I don't have a drill. So I think that will work as a drill bit. We're going to try it out. We got to make sure this is nice and level. I want the hole about there. We're going to kind of aim off to the side just a little bit. We are going to punch a hole right about there. Oh no, it will not fit. Let's do it again. Oh, she fits. We are golden.
