Rust Has All the Cutting Edge Stuff

“Unfortunately, all the cutting edge stuff seems to be done in Rust right now...” – CppCon Lightning talk wasi & C++ wasm ecosystem increasingly centered around Rust ESPECIALLY wasi experimentation The Present and Future of Cross-Platform GUI in C++ Matt Aber

Rust. EN: The image shows a screenshot from a CppCon talk about the present and future of cross-platform GUI in C++. The slide says that the WebAssembly ecosystem is increasingly centered around Rust, especially WASI experimentation, which ironically contrasts with the talk’s C++ topic. The meme is used as a reaction to situations where modern, cutting-edge ecosystem tooling turns out to be built with Rust.
