Suddenly Remembering Dual Citizenship

Text on the meme

Native born "Israelis" suddenly remembering they have dual citizenship after starting a war

What it means

A TikTok montage begins with animated airplanes flying across a map toward Israel, then cuts through clips of people abruptly leaving, dancing away, escaping, and looking ready to flee, before returning to the map. The caption jokes that native-born Israelis suddenly remember they have dual citizenship after starting a war, portraying them as trying to escape the consequences. The melancholic ambient soundtrack, DS Music’s “Another Rain” from Halo 3: ODST, makes the punchline feel dramatically tragic and exaggerated.
