No Shortage of Volunteers
Reminds of me this scene Shepherd: Tomorrow there will be no shortage of volunteers, no shortage of patriots. NOW - Hegseth says, "There's no shortage of American will" for the Iran War.
A screenshot compares a grainy scene of a uniformed soldier holding a gun with a news headline quoting Pete Hegseth about the Iran War. The joke is that the patriotic phrase sounds ominously similar to propaganda promising an endless supply of volunteers, making the news statement resemble a militaristic movie scene. It is used as a sarcastic reaction to war rhetoric and recruitment claims.
