Why Dogs Face Away

Why dogs sit facing away from you A SIGN OF TRUST THAT THEY'RE PROTECTING

A black dog sits with its back to the camera while a person pets it, accompanied by captions explaining that dogs facing away is a sign of trust because they are protecting you. The clip then cuts to a shaggy tan dog staring at the camera with a confused, skeptical expression, turning the sentimental explanation into an absurd reaction. It works as a reaction to overinterpreting ordinary pet behavior.
