Wiping a Spill Feels Romantic

How it feels wiping a spill from a cup

What it means

A hand wipes liquid from a white cup with a chopstick, then the clip suddenly cuts to romantic anime-style scenes of characters touching and embracing. The joke treats the mundane act of cleaning a spill as if it were an intensely romantic anime moment, making it a reaction for exaggerated affection or melodrama. The audio uses the romantic anime song “不可思議のカルテ” by Mai Sakurajima(CV:Asami Seto), Tomoe Koga(CV:Nao Toyama), Rio Futaba(CV:Atsumi Tanezaki), Nodoka Toyohama(CV:Maaya Uchida), Kaede Azusagawa(CV:Yurika Kubo) & Shoko Makinohara(CV:Inori Minase), whose sentimental music heightens the absurd contrast.
