Dogs Drink Calmly, Cats Panic

MEDIUM LOW HIGH CORTISOL *Dogs drinking water* CORTISOL LEVEL NORMAL LOW HIGH Cats:

The clip contrasts a dog enthusiastically splashing and gulping water from a bowl, with the cortisol gauge pushed toward high, against a black cat calmly licking a thin stream from a faucet while the gauge stays low. The joke is that dogs make ordinary drinking look chaotic and stressful, while cats remain composed even in a strange situation. Chelsey Hettinger’s “The Long Way Home” plays underneath, adding a gentle, slightly whimsical mood that heightens the contrast. It works as a reaction meme for comparing someone’s over-the-top behavior with someone else’s calm response.
