Windows Solid Color Slowdown

Here's a fun one I discovered today: Windows boots significantly slower if your desktop background is a solid color. Windows renders the desktop background using one thread per color value, so in a solid background a single thread has to handle the whole thing.

A screenshot of two humorous online comments about Windows supposedly booting slower when the desktop background is a solid color. The punchline is a fake technical explanation that a single thread must handle the entire solid background, parodying overly confident computer folklore.
