What it means

A social media post sarcastically repeats the advice “Learn to code” above a chart showing U.S. software developer employment declining after peaking in 2019. The punchline is that coding is no longer presented as the safe, lucrative career it was once promoted to be, while sociology or political science is jokingly suggested as the better choice.
