News Channel Is Not Available

Sorry, News Channel isn't available right now A law banning News Channel has been enacted in the U.S. Unfortunately, that means you can't use News Channel for now. We are fortunate that President Trump has indicated that he will work with us on a solution to reinstate News Channel once he takes office. Please stay tuned! Back to the Wii Menu

A parody Nintendo Wii News Channel error screen says that News Channel is unavailable because a new U.S. law has banned it, while claiming that President Trump will restore it after taking office. The joke imitates political news and bureaucratic announcements in the style of a video game system error message, making it a reaction to absurd political situations or censorship claims.
