Passing the Phishing Test

Text on the meme

When you pass the company email Phishing test because you don’t check your email

What it means

Ryan Gosling sits at an awards event, looking increasingly confused and awkward while people around him applaud. The joke is that he passes a company phishing test simply because he never checks his email, turning deliberate ignorance into accidental cybersecurity success. The clip works as a reaction to being rewarded for avoiding a problem, set to Alice Deejay’s upbeat Eurodance song “Better Off Alone (Mixed),” whose energetic mood makes the situation more absurd.
