The Israel Strategy in Stellaris
In stellaris, I deliberately genetically modify some species to be bioweapons (high housing requirements, debuffs to job efficiency, increased law enforcement requirement) You just keep them on 1 or 2 planets without any buildings, don’t let them automigrate onto your other planets, and then just send them to your neighbors if you have decent relations. I've toppled empires 3x mine using what I call “the Israel strategy”
A dark-mode social media comment explains a deliberately exploitative Stellaris strategy: genetically modify a species into a burdensome bioweapon, isolate it on undeveloped planets, and send it to friendly neighbors to destabilize them. The punchline is the provocative “Israel strategy” label, made more absurd by the cheerful Hava Nagila music playing underneath. The clip works as a reaction to ruthless game exploits, geopolitical analogies, or overly elaborate strategic advice.
