La Chona Chihuahua Birthday

Text on the meme

When I’m trying to hide the Latina baddie and her family from ICE but they have to celebrate their chihuahua’s 2nd bday

What it means

A close-up reaction video shows a serious-looking man staring into the camera, shifting from a bearded expression to a clean-shaven, tight-lipped look while the caption describes hiding a Latina woman and her family from ICE. The situation falls apart because they have to throw a loud second-birthday celebration for their Chihuahua, made even more conspicuous by the festive Mexican song “La Chona” by Los Tucanes de Tijuana. It is used as an absurd reaction to situations where an attempt at secrecy is ruined by an unavoidable celebration.
