A screenshot of an Israel Defense Forces social-media post showing a formal Ramadan Kareem greeting over ornate Arabic calligraphy, a glowing lantern, and a dark green background. The joke comes from the unexpectedly cordial holiday message, which is often shared as an ironic reaction because of the contrast between the peaceful greeting and the IDF’s military identity.
