YouTube Premium Still Shows Ads

Hi there, This is Aeron from the YouTube Support team. Thanks for reaching out! It looks like you tried to chat with our team today, but we had some issues connecting. I understand that you're getting ads for NFL Sunday Ticket despite being a YouTube Premium member. I know how you feel about this, so let me shed some light on this. While YouTube Premium provides an ad-free experience for most content, promotional ads can sometimes appear for specific partnerships or limited-time offers. These promotions are often targeted based on various factors, including your location, viewing history, and account settings. In this case, it seems the NFL Sunday Ticket promotion was displayed to you. This could be due to a variety of reasons, such as your location, your viewing history, or a specific marketing campaign. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. By the way, I would like to share that as a YouTube Premium member, you get full access to YouTube Music Premium at no extra cost. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us. All the best, Aeron T. The YouTube Support Team

A fake-looking YouTube Support email explains that a YouTube Premium subscriber is seeing NFL Sunday Ticket promotional ads. The joke is that “ad-free” Premium still allows vaguely defined partnership or limited-time offer promotions, undermining the promise of an ad-free experience. It is used as a sarcastic reaction to YouTube showing ads to paying subscribers.
