More rumors about Nvidia entering the Windows laptop market. Both AMD and Nvidia will have M4 Max competitor next year. Strix Halo for AMD with massive 40CU iGPU on 3nm TSMC and Nvidia also planning similar APU with big GPU, but on ARM CPUs. 80W TDP = same as M4 Max. Nvidia APU Testimonials (Early November 2024): Source 1: I [Nvidia Partner] can tell you firsthand that Nvidia is planning to launch an ARM-based APU to thin and light laptops within a couple years. Preliminary info is that it's targeting up to 80W, and Nvidia is at least partnering with DELL under the Alienware brand for it. Source 2: Yes, I [Nvidia] can confirm that we're working on a consumer APU, and I can also confirm that this is a VERY serious project...not some throwaway experiment or something. In fact, we're trying to rush this thing out by late 2025 or 2026 at the latest since we want to beat AMD Strix Wave to market. You should expect us to heavily market it both for gaming, but then also for creators as a direct competitor to AMD's Halo APUs as well. Oh, and yes it will have a powerful NPU, while there are concerns about ARM on Windows - there's a HUGE effort underway make it work.

A screenshot of a social media post discusses rumors that Nvidia is preparing an ARM-based APU for thin Windows laptops, potentially competing with Apple’s M4 Max and AMD’s Strix Halo. The embedded “testimonials” parody insider leaks and emphasize Nvidia’s supposedly serious plans, aggressive launch timeline, gaming and creator focus, and powerful NPU. It is shared as a tech-industry reaction to speculative hardware rumors and the rivalry between Nvidia, AMD, and Apple.
