God's Favorite Soldiers on Valentine's

Text on the meme

losers on valentines God's favourite soldiers

What it means

A fast-cut video contrasts affectionate couples on Valentine's Day with a lone man partying among huge piles of beer and liquor cans. The joke is that single drinkers are humorously reframed as “God's favourite soldiers,” turning loneliness and heavy drinking into an absurd heroic identity. Linkin Park’s “Faint,” an intense nu metal and alternative rock song, makes the montage feel aggressive, dramatic, and mock-epic, amplifying the punchline.
