The Captain Goes Down With His Ship
the cantain goes down with his ship 🫠
A cat sits precariously on a collapsing cat tree beside a bright window, then the structure gives way and the cat disappears downward with it. The misspelled caption frames the cat as a doomed ship captain, while Aphex Twin’s gentle, melancholic ambient/electronic track “QKThr” makes the absurd collapse feel dramatically tragic. It works as a reaction to going down with a failing situation or refusing to abandon a doomed project.
