Redditor Sells StarCraft Source Code

So, for those of you who were following my story on the Starcraft Gold Master Source Code disc I found. I returned the disc to Blizzard 2 weeks ago. A few days later I received a copy of Overwatch and $250 in blizzard store credit. A week later I got another call from a Blizzard Employee. He wanted to thank me for returning the disc (which was in fact stolen). He then asked me if I have ever heard of BlizzCon. I said well yeah of course but it's impossible for me to go, I live in the east coast, and the badges are always sold out before you can refresh the page lol. He said well, the reason we are calling you is to invite you to Blizzcon, all expenses paid, and we would love to take you out for drinks. I didn't know what to say, I was shocked, I expected nothing more than three free game and the store credit... After I thanked him 1,000 times he said oh by the way you should also be receiving something in the mail! This is what I got 2 days later >Be reeditor >Find starcraft source code >Could be used for the entertainment of millions in mods etc >Turns it into Blizzard for $250 Why are they like this? $250 in my pocket is worth infinitely more to me than the lives of any number of starcraft players

A screenshot of a Reddit post shows a StarCraft Gold Master Source Code disc alongside Blizzard merchandise and collectibles. The poster claims they returned the stolen disc to Blizzard and received only Overwatch, store credit, and $250, while an anonymous commentator mocks the decision to prioritize a small personal payment over the potential value of the source code to millions of players and modders. It is shared as a sarcastic reaction to shortsightedness and self-serving decisions.
