Life After Giving Up

Text on the meme

How life feels when you genuinely give up and start killing people

What it means

A cinematic aerial video glides over tropical coastlines and rugged mountains at sunrise while Gigi D'Agostino's euphoric Eurodance song “L'amour Toujours” plays. The peaceful, beautiful scenery contrasts absurdly with the caption about giving up and killing people, turning the song's uplifting mood into a darkly ironic reaction meme. It is used to jokingly express feeling liberated, emotionally detached, or villainously unbothered.
