Took the Hair Off Her Mii

when I found out my mom got cancer in 7th grade all I did was come home and take the hair off her mii

EN: The caption describes a child finding out that his mother had cancer but, instead of offering emotional support, simply removing the hair from her Mii avatar. The joke relies on an absurd literal comparison between hair loss during chemotherapy and changing a game character’s appearance; people send it as a dark, nonsensical reaction to a serious situation.
