$930,000 New Construction Bathroom Fail

Text on the meme

Is that a house or a cake? 🧱 $2.7M New Construction True American quality 🇺🇸 $2.8M New Construction $1.7M New Construction Talk about a hole in the wall 🕳️ 🕳️ $930,000 New Construction Primary bathroom shower pan is full of water I guess it's better than debris in the drain

What it means

A fast-paced construction-reveal video tours supposedly expensive new homes, showing crooked or poorly finished work: a damaged window, a loose floor fixture, uneven stonework, a sink, broken bathroom tiles, holes in a wall, and a shower pan full of water and debris. The escalating price labels contrast absurdly with the shoddy workmanship, ending with a sponge-like clump being pulled from the drain and the sarcastic claim that it is better than debris in the drain. Upbeat music and the sounds of tapping, running water, breaking, and scraping heighten the mock-serious home-inspection style and make each reveal feel like a punchline.
