Doom Gameplay, Ecstatic Headphones

Me playing Doom: My headphones:

What it means

A first-person player blasts through demons in Doom, firing weapons and violently attacking enemies while the lower panel shows two excited anime catgirls reacting with growing delight, then one becoming overwhelmed before throwing her arms up happily. The joke is that ordinary brutal Doom gameplay sounds euphoric and wildly pleasurable through the player’s headphones. The clip is set to “My Little Prisoners, Felonies Is Magik” by NUDEALERT, an intense electronic track whose energetic mood amplifies the contrast between demon slaughter and the headphones’ ecstatic reaction.
