Blue Statue Outside the Gallery
THE NATIONAL GALLERY
A surreal blue statue of a woman stands on a pedestal outside The National Gallery, with a large dark animal sculpture partly visible at the left. The absurd contrast between the elegant gallery and the bizarre oversized blue figure makes the image funny as a reaction to something strange or out of place.
