Surreal Cat Journey Through the Night

TAXI SERVICE $3.00 INITIAL FARE Stées

A surreal video follows a cat appearing in a series of uncanny nighttime and dreamlike scenes: inside a taxi, beside a coffin, holding a bottle, behind a window, on a swing, in a strange desert, and on a rooftop above a city before vanishing. Aphex Twin’s “Alberto Balsam” plays underneath, with its hazy ambient-IDM texture and uneasy, hypnotic mood making the cat’s inexplicable journey feel like a deadpan dream or psychedelic reaction meme.
