Genie Misheard the Wish

Text on the meme

"I wish for a peaceful world" mfs when the genie misheard them

What it means

A blurry close-up of a person screaming underwater or in a yellow-tinted scene. The joke is that people wishing for a peaceful world are horrified when a genie mishears the wish and grants something catastrophically different. It is used as an absurd reaction to misunderstandings or badly phrased wishes.
