Swimming in Plastic Pollution

Swimming in plastic pollution in the dark to understand the experience of a turtle swimming in the ocean

A shirtless person repeatedly submerges and thrashes in a bathtub while a green plastic bag drifts over them like ocean pollution. The joke parodies an over-the-top attempt to empathize with sea turtles, and the dramatic music—“Inspired This Melody” by Dj Carlos Costa Silva—makes the absurd performance feel mock-serious. It works as a reaction to exaggerated environmental activism or taking empathy too far.
